Thomas P. Dalton IDEA Center
Bring your projects to life at the Thomas P. Dalton IDEA (Innovative, Design, Engineer, Accelerate) Center. The center, located at 26 Fayette Street, Martinsville, is a 20,520 square-foot, three-floor facility that is home to the Fabrication Laboratory (Fab Lab) and the Technology Accelerator. Local businesses, members of the community, and students have access to prototyping, innovation management training and many other tools to help you dream, design, and create.
Old Dominion University Online at P&HCC
Old Dominion University, located in Norfolk, has been offering online entrepreneurial minded-doctoral research distance learning programs for over 30 years. Offering more than 100 programs in a variety of learning formats, Old Dominion University gives students the opportunity to complete their degree programs across the world.
New College Institute
New College Institute is one of five state-funded higher education centers in the Commonwealth, all centered in rural areas and focused on filling educational and career training gaps. They offer workforce training and development programs in Fiber Optics, Wind Energy, Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Adult Education, and a testing center for CLEP and Pearson Vue.
